The Best of Show Award recognizes outstanding new products entered by companies and organizations exhibiting at Interop Tokyo. A judging committee composed of key members from leading media organizations and experts from academia reviews the entries and selects the products, solutions, and services that represent the IT trends of the year.
From a large number of entries, products and services proceed through the Finalist review before undergoing final judging during the event, after which the Winners in each category are selected.
At Interop Tokyo 2026, more than 250 new products and services were entered. At the Finalist review held on May 29, a total of 94 products and services across 25 categories were selected as Finalists.

While the number of products providing guardrails for generative AI outputs is increasing, Hirundo was recognized for its novelty in diagnosing and modifying the generative AI model itself to eliminate risks such as information leakage, hallucinations, and bias. We believe it is significant that the product presents a different approach to security measures for generative AI, an area in which competition is intensifying.
The presentation was also highly evaluated for the participation of the developers and their sincere approach to the judging process.
