White-Box Cryptography
A “white-box” refers to an untrusted environment such as a smartphone or PC. When an application runs in a white-box environment, its internal processes may be analyzed, potentially leading to the theft of cryptographic keys and other sensitive data.
White-box cryptography is a specialized form of cryptographic processing designed for operation in such untrusted environments. Key & Data Protection uses a key transformation tool to perform cryptographic operations while keeping encryption keys hidden and protected.
